About
So, you found your way to my blog and are curious as to who I am … right?
First off, I’m a Game Designer and Web Application Engineer. I’ve studied at many schools, currently, however, I’m at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. I also enjoy a really awesome job at some place with mouse ears. I’ve studied games, the game industry, PHP and other various computer languages for close to 12 years now.
Speaking:
As of right now, I’ve only had one professional speaking gig, being included in a panel discussion at the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) Summit/Casual Connect Seattle in July, 2011. The Panel’s main subject was Building a Personal Network and discussing about Personal Branding.
I hope to add more speaking gigs as my time in the game industry goes forward.
Game Design Interests:
I LOVE Social games. However, the biggest problem that I have with the current generation of social games is the failure to actually engage people socially. Gone are the days of Scrabbulous and actually trying to engage people in a social setting. Even the social version of a popular board game series has flopped horribly. I personally take it upon me to learn the process of social game development and see how I can improve upon it.
